It’s nice to see that fashion has trended back towards “Glamour” again.

This season, red lips, glamour girl hair styles, and Cinderella lashes are in!

A great way to add that glamourous touch to your makeup is to add strip lashes.

Our resident esthetician, Bella,  provides a step by step on how to apply strip lashes, and conceal the strips with liner and mascara!

Here is a shot of Bella before she applies the strip lash over her natural lashes.

*TIP:  Apply your eye shadow now, before applying lashes. That way, you don’t have shadow to clean up under your eyes after applying the strip lash.

Apply a very thin line of lash adhesive to the lash strip.

*TIP: Go slow, only apply enough adhesive to cover the base of the lash strip to avoid lash adhesive being visible on your eye lids.

Bella applies the strip lash, and then anchors and adjusts the strip with a set of tweezers. You need to work quickly as the adhesive dries rapidly. Do both lashes.

Mold your natural lashes to the lash strip by applying mascara. This creates a more natural look. A light coat or two should suffice.

*TIP: be light-handed when applying mascara so as to not pull off, or move the lash strip.

The last step is to apply eyeliner to help conceal the lash strip.

Bella uses a soft eyeliner to blend into the strip lash band on the eyelid.

*TIP: Apply directly onto the lash band. Don’t go to thick, a thinner line works best.

So there you have it, a fun way to glam up your look and have those beautiful Cinderella lashes you’ve dreamed of….at least until midnight ; )
